Lifting Communities. Changing Lives.

Leatha Flenaugh

Leatha Flenaugh had always been a hard worker, but like many Americans, she had accumulated a significant amount of credit card debt as a young woman. With a new sense of determination to get out of debt and put herself on the right financial track, Leatha visited Southern Bancorp Community Partners financial counselors who helped create the right path for her goals.

After successfully completing credit counseling, utilizing Southern’s secure credit card meant to promote good credit habits, and saving through a Matched Savings Account, Leatha is now well on her way toward pursuing her next big dream: homeownership.
